In the African Savannah there are a lot of species’ of animals and plants that are worth saving. Also the geography and ecosystems that are like no other. This unique habitat houses many plants and animals that are worth saving.

The climate in a savanna is tropical with a temperature range of 68 ° to 86°F (20°-30°C). The land there is dry during dry season and wet when it rains in rainy season. It has fewer trees and a lot of grass. In rainy seasons (the summer months) the Savanna has a monthly rainfall of 10 to 30 inches which equivalent to 100 to 150cm. One of the most unique thing about the Savanna’s is that it has a very long dry season in the winter and a very wet season in the summer. The Savanna is covered with grass, scattered shrubs, and isolated trees. The reason for this is that the Savanna don’t have enough rainfall to support a forest. The savanna is also known as tropical grassland. Some of the animals that could be found in the Savanna’s are eland , impalas , gazelles oryx , gerenuk and kudu .
