Christopher Columbus's letter to Luis de Santangel, the financier of his expedition, and the royalty of Spain would prove to be useful to Howard Zinn as it supports his argument of how wealth obsessed Spain was while furthering Foner’s idea that there can be more than one correct interpretation of history.
