The Techniques for Glass Engraving

Introduction
The purpose of this speech is to illustrate the art of glass through glass engraving and glass etching something that I started to do after I left my job at UPS in 2004.
Thesis
Today, I’d like to be able illustrate to you some of my glass engravings and give you some techniques on how to engrave glass that demonstrates the process through the form shape and texture.
Preview
I’ll discuss where to find glass, the materials needed and where you can find the materials needed to be able to start your on project .
Body
I. The materials needed in order to start engraving glass are: A. First, you need to find the glass of your choice B. Second, you need a glass engraver, or kit and possibly a rotary tool. C. Third, you can get paint if you preferred to paint the glass.
II. Okay, now you need to know where to get the materials that are needed. A. Walmart B. Hobby Lobby, JoAnn’s or Michael’s C. You can also get some of the materials from Home Depot, Lowe’s or even Harbor Freight Tools.
III. Glass engraving is not new and is a hobby for many people. But, the most satisfaction is the creation of a beautiful piece of art. A. The more you learn how to glass engrave
