CHURCH. The word itself brings to mind emotions and opinions ranging from, “Life-giving community,” to “Brainwashing, boring cult” and everywhere in between. Many people have experienced pain through the church and see it as a judgmental institution of hypocrites. Others have experienced tremendous love and compassion, but find the myriad of weekly events and programs leave them feeling anxious and overwhelmed. When one individual thinks of church, they see a religious subculture trying to win political elections, while another person may see a community of grace and peace helping people spiritually. Whether you see the church as good, bad or somewhere in-between, we are eager to create something new.
