I had so much fun in the CicLAvia event with my classmates; I experienced a lot of new things. Which I will be talking about my experience that I had in this event, how this event relates to this Chicano Studies class. The different murals I saw while passing by little city’s, how there’s history in our L.A walls representing our ancestors. As well what is the purpose of this event, how huge this event is for people I saw everyone gather together in this event. In some areas, I felt unconformable due to some strangers, as well my traveling experience. As well the people that I met getting to know my classmates more and just listen to their stories and what other students go through. An event for people to skate, bike, roller-skate and walk. It was closed for the public to just have fun areas like China Town, Broadway, Boyle Heights, Glendale Blvd., and Echo Park where closed. I took public transportation to get there by train from North Hollywood to L.A got off on Civic Center. From there I walked with a couple of my classmates all Broadway, and suddenly we just decided to rent a bike. Metro was offering a good deal of $7 dollars for the whole day, which was actually a good deal. But yet again not really because i had to dock the bike every 30mins which was kind of annoying. Sometimes the bike areas to dock the bikes were far. Like the first minutes of using the bike I fell off like three times it was both I just couldn’t stop and little kids would swirl their bikes and will get in my way that caused me to fall. Also, the bike was too big for me to keep riding so I decided to leave the bike and decided to walk because I just kept
