Cinder Cones

Cinder cones, or, scoria cone are a type of volcano that is a steep conical hill.These volcanoes are found in most places like islands such as Hawaii. They are wide and large and can build up to 400 metres high.

Cinder cone volcanoes have uncommonly seen structures from the outside. It is wide and profile, and it resembles a dish or a hollow saucer that has been turned upside down at the summit. They are a steep conical hill which is made out of loose pyroclastic fragments, volcanic ash cinders and clinkers. It is formed by a single vent of pyroclastic debris that were shot up in lava fountains. As the gas-charged lava is blown into the air, the particles fall down and builds a cinder cone volcano by forming the shape. When a cinder cone erupts, most of its gases have evaporated or gone.
