CINDERSELLIA An adaptation of cinderella by Shantel Jaramillo In a faraway city of Vancouver, Canada there was a girl named Sellia. Her father has just passed away and her mother decided to remarry to a man named Isaac. Isaac had to daughters from his previous marriage named Jackey and Ziona, they were a year older then Sellia, they were going to be sophomores and Sellia was going to be a freshman. As the school year started Sellia and her friends were preparing for the homecoming dance. Sellia was talking to her mother Lauren about going to buy dresses, her mother told her that she could do chores to earn extra money. She did not mind helping around the house, Sellia finally earned about an extra $100 to…show more content… As homecoming was getting closer the bullying was getting worse, they would continue to bump and shove Sellia in the halls, they would make horrible pictures of her, they would try to make no one like her, and they would post mean comments under her instagram posts. Sellia eventually got tired of it and just gave up, she wasn’t eating, she was sitting by herself when her best friends weren’t with her, she was doing everything she possibly could to leave that school. Her mother Lauren had contacted the principle and they did not one thing about the bullying. After a few days passed Sellia was starting to not go to school and she was staying in her room all day and night without eating or drinking anything. As homecoming was just two days away Sellia was debating whether she wanted to go or not. Her best friend Stacey had convinced her to go. The day of homecoming they got ready together, they went to get their nails done, and they got their hair and make -up done. The homecoming dance was a masquerade theme, all the girls and guys would be wearing masks so you did not know who they where. Sellia knew that the guy she wanted to go with, Dominic, didn’t ask anyone to go with him. He wanted to dance with a girl who’s identity he did not know at the time. Dominic posted on his instagram that if the girl the bad belonged to could tell him the color of the necklace and the scent of the perfume. Sellia direct messaged him. The scent of the perfume is Japanese Cherry Blossom and my necklace is baby blue. Sellia knew she was right and now she was just waiting for him to respond.
