Civets are cat-like animals abundant in Asian jungles and rainforests. They are most commonly found in southern India, Sri-Lanka, and Southeast Asian countries. They are known for their dark thick hair and large eyes. What is also interesting to note about their appearance is the fact that despite looking and behaving like a cat, civets are not descendants of the feline family. They are more related to the species of weasels and mongooses.
