the bounden duty of the Govt. to enable all to get at least basic education. It is a pity that over 6 decades after Independence, this has to be brought in by legislation. But the process is haphazard. Just passing a law without making suitable infrastructure in the form of schools, teachers, books etc., and also awareness among the poor people, will not achieve its purpose. There should be a huge campaign in the rural areas, not only to ensure that parents send their wards to schools irrespective of religious faiths but also to eliminate dropouts. All necessary facilities like books on subsidised rates, good midday meals etc. should be in place to lure the children to the schools. The implementation and results will take time but it is good that a beginning has been made. We hope for the best .
It is just a law, but it would never be implemented in right manner because poor people would never be able to give proper education and proper training to their wards because of high cost and lower jobs shall remain with the poor people.
because education is the one thing that can take you from the slums to success. it gives youth an opportunity to choose their own path, it gives them the world to explore and benefit from. its also important because if we want to have a bright future, then we'd better educate the children well, they are our future,
