Casey Anthony Trial: In 2005, nineteen year old, Casey Anthony, gave bitch to her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. Two years later in 2008, Anthony claims that her daughter is missing in Orange County, Florida. Later, Anthony told the police that she dropped Caylee off at a babysitter, Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez’s, apartment. On June 27, 2008, Anthony abandoned her car in a parking lot and it got towed three days later. On July 15, 2008, Casey’s mom, Cindy Anthony, called the police to arrest her daughter on suspicion os stealing the family car and money. During the call, Cindy tells the police that her granddaughter might be missing. Cindy said, “I found my daughter’s car today, and it smelled like there’s been a dead body in the damn car” (CNN.com). The police then questioned Casey and she admitted to not seeing Caylee for more than thirty days. Anthony was arrested shortly after and the Sheriff’s office searched Casey Anthony’s car and a cadaver dog picked up the scent of human decomposition. The Police also found hair, dirt and a satin in the trunk. Preliminary test results from the FBI showed the presence of chloroform in Anthony’s car. In October 2008, a Florida grand jury indicts Casey Anthony on capital murder and other charges. Anthony pleaded not guilty to murder charges. In December 2008, a utility worked found skeletal remains in a wooded area near Anthony’s home. It was then determined that the remains that were found belonged to Caylee Anthony. In May 2011, the capital murder trial of Casey Anthony began in Orlando, Florida. Defense attorney, Jose Baez, claims that Casey’s father started molesting her at the age of eight. Baez also stated that Caylee drowned in the Anthony family pool on June 16, 2008, and Casey and George covered up the death. On July 5, 2011, the seven-woman, five-man jury deliberated for 10 hours, 40 minutes and 33 seconds before coming back with the verdict of not guilty of
