Clara Barton was a very productive woman during the civil war times. Born on christmas day in 1821, guess you can say she was a blessing the the civil war cause when she got older. Her birth place was in North Oxford, Massachusetts, to parents Captain Stephan Barton and Sarah Stone Barton. At a young age, Clara was very close to her father and he had a big influence on her participation in the civil war. He was the main reason she got interested in human health and resources.
