I believe Classroom Management is the key component to being a successful teacher. My philosophy of classroom and behavior management lends itself to be primarily positive. As a parent, I have learned that adopting a positive approach with the children works better than focusing on negativity. It is through the many years of experience that I have acquired as a parent and educator, and the education I have received at Towson University, that I firmly believe that you get what you focus on. Therefore, I plan to focus on the positive behavior of my students, rewarding them frequently and in turn, hopefully extinguishing any unwanted behaviors.
