Claudette Colvin, a teenager, stood up for justice, during a time of injustice. She stood for justice when others fell for discrimination. Claudette Colvin exceeds the definition of dauntless for her amazing actions. She picked her head up, and stood firmly in what she believed in. For instance, Claudette refused to give up her seat on the bus, when her other classmates did give up their seats for whites. When she refused her seat, the bus driver demanded she gives up her seat. Claudette sat in the seat that she paid her fair share of money for, and stared straight ahead.
