Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a great pharaoh for a day? Well, Cleopatra was a great and interesting pharaoh. She didn’t win many things in her life, but that does not mean that she didn’t have any strengths. A lot of people had mixed feelings about her and the way she ruled. Just because she was a cruel person to some people, doesn’t mean that she didn’t have a heart.
Cleopatra was in many relationships and even married some of her siblings. She had four husbands. Their names were Ptolmey Xlll Thoes Philopator, Ptolmey XlV, Julius Caesar, and Mark Anthony. Besides being her husbands Ptolmey Xlll Thoes Philopator and Ptolmey XlV were also her brothers. All of her siblings were Ptolmey Xlll Thoes Philopator, Ptolmey XlV, Arsinoe lV and Berenice lV. Biography.com says, “ Cleopatra was born in 69 B.C.E and died in 30 B.C.E”. That means that Cleopatra lived for about 41 years. People hated her because of the choices she made for Egypt. Some of those choices were that she loved to be the center of attention, and she was. That was one of her strengths. Prezi.com says,“A lot of her strengths consists of her being very rich and powerful.” She was considered one of the most elegant female rulers. Cleopatra was declared guardian of the Ptolemaic Dynasty. As Cleopatra ruled she learned she had many weaknesses, some of those weaknesses were that she had many husbands. Four to be exact. Something that ruined her relationship with her brother was that they went into battle because he took over the Dynasty. Of course….she lost. That was one of her major weaknesses.
