3.1 PEST Analysis
Political: Public safety is very important, and the government has implemented various laws to ensure that rules and regulations are followed. For amusement rides in Ontario, the Safety Authority (TSSA) regulates and ensures that the devices and equipment conform to the Technical and Safety Act (Alvarez, 2017). The availability of food at event venues attracts more customers and the Food and Drug acts allow food inspectors to certify the food quality that is served in public places such as amusements and arcades on a regular basis. Consumers can also report any food-related complaints directly to the Canadian food inspection agency. This industry also employs many low-skilled and young workers and the companies must comply with the minimum wage requirement set by the province and provide essential employment benefits (Alvarez, 2017).

There is a high capital requirement which includes venue, employee benefits, public liability insurance, and repair and maintenance expenses.
As a new entrant to the industry, the Gaming Garage lacks awareness which leads to underutilization.
