As a younger kid, I had a lot of role models. These include, but are not limited to my parents, the older girls at my dance studio, upperclassmen, and my past babysitters. Similar to my own role models, I am involved in many extracurricular activities (holding leadership positions in many), I strive at my schoolwork, and I still find time for my family and friends. I can only thank these motivators for helping me accomplish what I have done today. But the title has been passed down to me. The first incident that proved to me that I was inspiring younger kids was at my dance studio. I was rehearsing my solo and people came in to watch. Afterwards, I heard one of the two-year olds whisper to her mom: “I want to be that good when I’m older, Mom.” She responded by saying: “Well, then you have to take lots of classes and work really hard.” The feeling I felt afterwards was so gratifying.
