Throughout my years of high school, I’ve had a passion for music and sports. In the six years that I have been in band, I played the drums and other percussion instruments. I also have a passion for sports such as basketball and soccer. I have played soccer for five years and it has been a true thrill. Watching myself work in music and soccer has made me realize that I can do anything that I strive to do, and I can be successful in college.

In school, I have always worked better when I listened to music or thought about it. I plan on going to college for music because music is literally my life. Everything I do is centered around some type of beat that gives me a passion to leap right into what I’m doing and finish what I start. You have to have the stamina and endurance to keep pushing through as the game goes on. I found love for soccer when I was at a young age and it has stuck with me throughout my teenage years. When I run up and down the field or strike the ball with my foot I find happiness within myself. For me, soccer is more than just a sport, it helps me stay in shape because there is a lot of running involved. During a soccer game, you never know when you have to sprint because the momentum of the game can change within the blink of an eye. It is sort of like life. Life goes good sometimes but we all have our moments when things aren’t going the greatest and life flips us upside down. Soccer may not be a popular sport, but it is very challenging.

Music and soccer have had a great impact on my life and I’m glad that I found love in the two of these because if one doesn’t work out in college, I’ll have one or the other to fall back on. I’m going to attend college for music first because I have the most passion for music and I feel that it is my strong point in life and it is my way out of
