I began small by making sure my mother take her medication for depression in the right time frame and manner; I progressed by motivating her to try her best at work for we now depended on her income more then ever; I continued by making sure all daily chores were executed so my mom could just rest when she got home; and finally I worked myself up to juggling both my academic success as well spending my spare time tutoring my sister upon her courses. These routines continued on for three consecutive years until my dad thankfully (yet illegally) returned home. These experiences transformed my perspective and directed me to incorporate my future career into being the leader I sought to be for my family; but most importantly, one for every family.
