Have you ever wondered if it’s a good idea to go and colonize on mars?
There are a lot of natural resources that would boost our economy and a possibility that we could find evidence of former life on the planet. If something on Earth went wrong, all humans could be obliterated. Without a doubt, colonizing Mars would ensure the survival of our species. Its gonna be hard surviving on earth if this is all we have. Moving to Mars would ensure our existence. If something ever happens to earth then we will have colonies on Mars to keep our existence. According to a website about moving to Mars, "Humans need to be a multi planet species”. Elon Musk had recently told astronomer Phil Plait, “It’s only a matter of time before something happens to the only place we call home”.…show more content… We already have evidence that shows us that valuable metals could be on mars. Mars has the biggest volcano in the solar system, which means it holds plenty of natural resources such as aluminum, diamonds, gold, nickel, lead, zinc, and copper. According to www.nasa.gov , “100 percent relative humidity has been observed on Mars but the atmosphere is very thin so water could be scarce”. The water would be frozen and under the surface but if we could mine the water and use it as a resource then we could be one step closer to being able to support life on mars. Life on mars! Is it possible that mars, at one point, could have contained life? According to nasa.gov , they have found an empty river bed that at one time had flowing water. Nasa said that they believe with the evidence found in the river bed that it could have been able to support life. If we go to Mars we can find facts and information that could lead us to the possibility of life. We would have to dig much deeper then Nasa’s rovers are now to get to water that could have microorganisms. The possibility of life on Mars is just another reason to head to
