Red, yellow, and blue are all colors that describe Gatsby in the F. Scott book The Great Gatsby. He uses these colors well to represent danger, cheerfulness, and hopefulness thought out the novel The Great Gatsby. The color red means danger in the novel Gatsby has a connection with this color because throughout the movie Gatsby had put himself in a lot of dangerous situations. One example can be when he and Daisy were in the car before she hit Myrtle she had blood already on her face she had deep red mouth. Also throughout the movie and book she always have the color red on which connects to danger. Every time Gatsby sees the color red or is near the color something bad always happens to him.

In chapter 5 Gatsby has tea with Daisy he fills Nicks house with yellow flowers and lemons for tea. Which is the start of the affair between Gatsby and Daisy from this moment his car darkens to when they went to New York in chapter 7 Tom drove Jay’s car he tries to sell his car to Wilson. The car at this moment of time is a bright yellow this means cation because when they get to the hotel room in New York a huge fight brakes out between Tom and Gatsby about who Daisy really loves the affair between him and Daisy is uncovered everyone knows. So Daisy and Gatsby leaves and on the way home they run over Myrtle and kill her but thy keep driving. Everyone that lives in the Valley of ashes seen the accident that it was a yellow car that hit her. “It was a yellow car,” he said, “big yellow car.
