Green Card “Green Card” is an essay composed by Alberto Rios. He explained how the justice is unfair in America for color people; the main targeted victims in the essay are Mexicans. These people move from their countries to have a better life, however, it turns out that they are judged by their appearance and their facial structure. In the essay, Rios states that “None of this is easy, and nobody knows what will happen when you come, and everybody is not treated the same… I think, finally, they were right” (218). The quote emphasize that everyone expected to get the same right when they moved to a new country. Once they arrived into the country. They found out that everyone has treated either by their ethnicity or nationality. This can create
