Supporters of Common Core argue that every American should receive the education regardless of which state they live in. Having just one National standard would promote equality because we would ensure that every child is receiving the same education. A study published in 2010, shows that educational inequality in the developmental age children had dismal effects on their social and economic later on (Heckman, 25).
