Harvey’s Mission statement: “We are committed to conducting our business in an ethically responsible manner that recognizes and protects our relationships with associates, customers, shareholders, vendor and communities.” The Triple Bottom Line is that they are striving to do things the right way, every day by being structured around these three pillars: Products, People and Planet.
The program that is helping Harvey’s focus on these three things is called I Share Network. The I Share Network is Harvey’s Group’s Compliance and Ethics online reporting tool. It provides a mechanism to report issues and concerns and it follows up on previously submitted reports. These reports may remain anonymous if they choose to do so. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and receives reports in languages spoken by associates around the world. This group is committed to protecting associates from retaliation when they raise alleged violations of company policy or the law. Harvey’s also recognizes the need to support the communities in which we work. They are involved in a program called Hunger Has a Cure. Feeding America is the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. Harvey’s mission: To feed America’s hungry through a nationwide network of member food banks and engage our country in the fight for hunger. Through these various food banks customers purchase a food box that contains enough food with four nutritious meals. Harvey’s is also involved with the Hometown Education rewards program. It is committed to making a positive impact in our local communities. This program provides free educational equipment and supplies to local non-profit public and private schools, kindergarten through high school.
