The expositions in “Being Prey” is Plumwood going on a canoe swamp safari to look for cave paintings in Australia. These expositions are similar by Eckels and Plumwood wanting to find and see things that were made and belong in the past. Eckels wanting the dinosaur and Plumwood wanting to find cave paintings and artifacts. The differences between the two expositions is in “The sound of thunder” Eckels wants to go back in time, in the prehistoric era, while Plumwood wants to go is staying in modern day Australia. The conflict in “the sound of thunder” is Eckels wanting to safely survive the trip to the past and back in the time machine and not get hurt. The conflict in “Being Prey” is Plumwood surviving the crocodile infested wetlands. These conflicts are difficult by trying to survive from time eras and animals.
