“There is a story behind every person, a reason why they are where they are…”~ Anonymous. The pilgrims were people who journeyed to america for religious freedom. The refugees are people who have been forced to escape the war, persecution, or natural disaster. The pilgrims and the refugees are the same in many ways, but they are also very different, like the reason they left their home country .
Firstly, Pilgrims and refugees are similar in many ways. One way is that they both lacked resources. Of course the pilgrims lacked resources in a different way than the refugees. They both still lacked the help they so desperately needed. When the pilgrims land on the east coast, they were in a land without food or supplies.
