In the book Looking for Alaska by John Green one of the main characters, Miles Halter, also known as Pudge, has the same characteristics as my brother Derek. For example the way they look. Pudge is a very tall, lengthy, skinny, boy just like Derek is. Pudge is also very awkward and starts to mumble words when he is in a comfortable position, and Derek tends to do the same thing. Even if Derek is talking to my dad or even sometimes me he starts using words like um, uh, so, ect. Pudge and Derek are also alike in a social way. Derek is somewhat popular but he likes to follow people around like Pudge does. Pudge also doesn't tend to do many things alone and so doesn’t Derek.
