What comes to your mind when hearing the word Holocaust or 9-11? Internally, many thoughts can come to mind. For example, when or where did the event occur? Also, how did the event occur? The Holocaust and 9-11 were horrible events in our history. There are many similarities and differences between the two events. The Holocaust was an event that occurred on January 30, 1933 – May 8, 1945, which was a longer time period than 9-11. This event began slowly, with strict restrictions of the life of Jews. The Holocaust event took place in Germany and in Eastern Europe. The event took place because individuals, groups, and nations made choices to act, or not to act, on the restrictions that were placed on the life of the Jews. The Holocaust was a horrible event because it killed a lot of people. …show more content…

Many reasons were devolved of why the attacks happened “Al-Qaeda hoped that by attacking these symbols of American power, they would promote widespread fear throughout the country and severely weaken the United States standing in the world community, ultimately supporting their political and religious goals in the Middle East and Muslim World”(Office, Administrative N/a).
