Test for Unit There are ample amount of interactions between the colonists and the American Indians, that shaped New England and Chesapeake regions to what they are now. There was tension between the English and specifically the Powhatan. Together they had countless wars which the English became the victors, but it caused more stress. New England was taken over by pride and greed that led to prevalent events.
The main occurrence in the Chesapeake region was the two Anglo-Powhatan wars and Bacon's rebellion. The Powhatan tribe had a strong hand of leadership over the other native American. Once again, this tribe believed the English colonists were allies.
