I had never truly appreciated attending Margaretville Central School until my junior year. All throughout ninth and tenth grade I had dreamed of going to a larger school, I thought the academics were more intense, the sports teams more successful. Therefore, the summer before my junior year I begged my parents to send me to Onteora Central School. I thought a Class B school would provide me a better experience than Margaretville’s Class D rank. I was relentless, but I was not allowed to go, so I completed pre-season at Margaretville with Margaretville’s Varsity Girls soccer team.
