This essay is about A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley (The play version) vs the film version (from Scrooge). They both follow the same story. Telling the same story in the film is different than telling it on a written play. They use different resources and methods to tell the same story. These are 2 different formats, but both are effective.
Characters in both stories are almost the same. In the fil they resemble the characters in the play and you know who is who. The play version describes the characters, but you can see them, so you have to imagine them. The description in the play is good enough to make you imagine them accurately. The play version uses stage directions to describe how the character is dressed.
