In the book Anthem and the movie The Island the characters rebelled against their societies government. As an example, in the book Anthem when Equality- 7 2521 was caught after being late from coming from in the sewers. Equality rebelled by lying to the government when asked why he was late and where he was coming from. Equality did not answer, so in result to his choice he was sent to a jail. As a result, Equality went to jail for lying to his society leaders. He ended up escaping since Equality knew that there was not going to be any guards due to the fact that no one ever tries to escape. Although, Equality was that one person to escape.
