The two pieces that I am using for my example are Aphrodite of Melo and Warrior A. the reason I picked these two is because they are like night and day. Warrior A was found in the sea by Riace, Italy. This is of Classical Greek style and was made around c. 450 B.C.E. The Greeks liked lifelike meaning everything was represented to a T in their pieces. Which included a lot of nudity. Warrior A is made from Bronze with bone and glass for the eyes, silver for the teeth, and they used copper for the lips and nipples. He stands about 6’8” tall. These sculptures were created because of the wars. Aphrodite of Melo is of Hellenistic style. They didn’t sculpt females fully nude but partially if they were goddesses or mythological characters. She is made
