One of the scenes where you can really see their similarities is when Cassius sends Cinna over to manipulate Brutus into joining the conspirators. In Julius Caesar this was in Scene 1 Act 3 where Cassius states “We’ve won over three parts of him already. We’ll have him entirely on our side after we’ve spoken with him again.” referring to Brutus. This parallels Mean Girls in how they manipulate Cady, but in a less schemy way as Mean Girls is set in a high school setting where Janice was obviously less experienced in manipulating and using people, while Cassius seems to be very skilled in exploitation.
