After reading the short story in Chapter 15 and the Philbert short story I was more touched by Philbert's personal story. Don't get me wrong the two short stories in Chapter 15 were also sad, but they weren't as meaningful as Philbert's story was. I believe that I was more touched by Philbert story because I am an animal lover. Many humans treat their pets badly when they are so similar to humans when I started reading Philbert's personal story on how George had cancer and how lovable the Shih-Tzu was. Even though George will be taking away from his owner, the short story "Good" by Bradley Philbert was very significant to Philbert. I liked how Philbert shared what he was feeling at the moment and describing was going on letting the readers
