For example, in the article “What is Beautiful is Good”, the beautiful receive a great deal of social attraction. The assumptions people make about attractive individuals include being more sociable, extroverted, have more satisfying interactions with others, desirable personalities, popular, have better sex lives and are more successful. With them having these automatic assumptions about attractive individuals, they make them come true by believing them. In the article, “Playing Hard to Get”, in my opinion, I believe this is a great method that works because it gives the other person more interest and motivation to invest time in that individual. The majority of people do not want a person who is easy to get, fast paced and eager to be in a relationship quickly. I believe relationships work best when they are taken slowly.
