Dr. Martin and Brother Malcolm X were civil rights activists that empowered blacks to fight for their rights. They both believed in equal justice for the black community, but they both had very different perspectives on how to go about it. One strongly believes that violence is the key to gaining freedom and respect for African Americans. The other thought that non-violent protest would do the job.They were both very strong minded and great leaders, which made people want to stand with them for equal rights and justice.
