The definition of justice is a concern for justice, peace, and genuine respect for people. Forgiveness and justice cannot go hand in hand. This is because justice is most of the time revenge. Revenge tends to rule over forgiveness when a person is angry. Forgiveness happens without the presence of justice and justice happens without the presence of forgiveness. Forgiveness is usually motivated by many different emotions like sadness and jealousy but on the other hand justice is only motivated by anger. They are two very different things. In Hamlet, Hamlet was so motivated to get revenge not once did he even think about forgiveness until everyone was dead and he was dying. When people are set on revenge they never think about forgiveness
