When comparing the paths of independence in India and Vietnam, it was impressed by their charismatic leaders. Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was a remarkable Indian leader for nonviolent resistances, while Ho Chi Minh was famous Vietnamese revolutionary and military strategist listed alongside Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. They were motivated to use very different strategies, but finally had the same success and popularity in freeing their people from the colonizer.
