Abbie Scepurek Mrs. Kapsner English 10 12 April, 2024 Contrast Between Movie and Novel There are some very distinct differences between the novel If I Ever Get Out Of Here by Eric Gandsworth and the movie Smoke Signals by Chris Eyre. One example is the relationship between the two main characters. For instance, in the novel Lewis meets George at school in the 7th grade, while Victor and Thomas know each other their whole lives. Another example of relationship differences is, Thomas’ parents died in a house fire when he was a baby and were taken care of by his grandmother.
