Jurassic Park gives us a direct look into what happens when trying to play God. Using advanced technology, Dr. Wu mixes the DNA of dinosaurs with other species to bring back the extinct dinosaurs. In hopes of opening a park with John Hammond and putting all the specimens on display. Despite being advised not to by paleontologist Dr. Alan and Dr. Ellie due to safety risks and uncertainty. Further into the movie, when they are on the island, a malfunction occurs, releasing all the specimens. All because a selfish fat dude shuts everything down while stealing eggs to sell. Everyone starts to go into fight or flight mode, trying to stay alive long enough for help to come. This story reaches back in time, pulling people from the present and sending them to the past. The main protagonist Eckels wants to kill a T-rex and safari guide Travis makes it possible. The only two rules are to never step off the path and only kill what's marked. We later find out while the group is face to face with the T-rex that Eckels runs off the path. In doing this he completely destroyed the present time simply by killing a single butterfly. When they traveled back, not only did the winning president change but the English language. All because man wanted to act like God and satisfy their own selfish
