Comparing King And Eldon From Medicine Walk

Similarities and differences can be found between any kind of character, even if they are polar opposites. Throughout the stories, there is a wide range of characters that are introduced to the readers. The characters that authors create are often inspired by other characters, however, even characters that strongly contrast with each other can share something in common. In this piece of writing, the characters Jeremiah from Sufference by Thomas King and Eldon from Medicine Walk by Richard Wagamese will be compared and contrasted. Through the stories of Medicine Walk and Sufferance, it is easier to find differences than similarities between Jeremiah and Eldon. ‘Ada and Nutty, Emma and Roman, and Lala in the kitchen. There’s a big bowl of potato chips on the table, along with a deck of cards.
