This type of argument approach can be taken in a negative way, as it translates to being emotionally charged. On top of this, a tone of overt aggression on top of not acknowledging, or giving time to the opposition creates a topic less debateable. Audiences are more likely to be receptive to arguments based on logic rather than on an emotionally fueled basis.
