Why we are here and the powers of the universe are very controversial topics in the science industry and across religions and people worldwide. From speculation that we come from nothing, meaning that the big bang was from nothing to what I believe is true, which is that God made the universe.
Christopher McCandless, being the main character of a book that very well represents transcendentalism, believes in the aforementioned philosophy. For those who don’t know, transcendentalism shares similarities to that of major religions, such as believing in God and other things. The similarities do end though, with many things in the transcendentalist philosophy being partially or completely misaligned with religion.
