While the writers both show the same opinion, they express it in different ways. Frost character is timid in the way he expresses his view on how he hats the wall(“Mending Wall”), yet Reagan is austere when he articulates his perspective (“Tear Down This Wall”) The primary effect on walls falls on the individual.
People’s rights were separated by the Berlin wall. People woke up to find themselves separated from friends family work and their homes, so President Reagan decided to make a change publicly(Tear down this wall). Frost’s narrator is internally struggling , for the knows the wall has a negative payoff. He is afraid to tell his neighbor about his disapproval of the wall and he proves to be a hypocrite(Mending Wall).
