Tom robinson was a hard worker and also Emmit till. They both worked out in the fields but just in different decades. They both respected whites until some of Till’s friends dares him to flirt with a white store clerk. They both died by getting killed by white men. Tom died by try to escape and ended up getting shot. Till died innocently by being kidnapped then beaten, and they took him to the river where they then shot him and threw him in.

Some differences are that tom was way older than Till. It doesn't say the exact age but when know he was older than Till. Till was fourteen when he was killed. Till was an actual person that was killed in real life and Tom was just a fictional character even though it was based on a true story. They were also different because Till was known as a jokester and Tom wasn't anything like Till. Till ended up being kidnapped and that’s how he died but Tom died by gunshot from a policeman. They both lived in the time that most whites did not respect black people. …show more content…
