27 March 2012 Computers aren’t always good Computers are not always good for humans. They cause all kind of problems starting with physical health and ending with psychological health. One of the physical health’s is obesity, because of doing one thing all day. The psychological health problem is not being able to communicating with others.
People can’t go one day without using their phone which is a computer too. “In today’s society our technology is more advanced than ever before. So far advanced is our society that we can easily use cell phones to speak to anyone, anywhere and at any time.” ( kost123 pg.1). A lot people just use their phone too much daily because of all the different excitements it has. Phones have also become a need to most people for more than just communication. Cell phones have gone from just talking, to taking pictures like a camera and surfing the web/internet like a regular computer. Some people do go without using their cell phones because of the health problems against it. “With cell phones the consequences can be detrimental and therefore, should not be dismissed lightly.” ( Lloyd Burrell pg.1)
Some children spend too much time playing video games/ computer games. “Too much video game playing makes your kid socially isolated. Also, he may spend less time in other activities such as doing homework, reading, sports, and interacting with the family and friends.” (raise smart kids pg.1) The video games have become addicting to elementary and teenage children, even some adults are addicted. The only things they are working out are their thumbs and that’s not really a workout. Video games make children stay inside the house and stare at the television all day. They don’t get outside to play or anything and it causes obesity. Then again, some games help the children’s learning ability. “But many scientists and psychologists find that video games actually have many benefits – the main one being making kids smart.” Video games may not be a physical
