As a writer, I always felt as though I could portray a voice through writing because I was not the best at communication verbally as a young person. In most cases, where the teacher would call upon me in school to answer a question that was longer than one word, and required for a full response I would become tremendously nervous. So, nervous that in fact I would revert to asking the teacher to call on another student or even ask the teacher could I write the answer on the board. Although done frequently enough, it would seem as though I was being disrespectful towards the teacher this was not at all my intention. To go along with improving my credibility as a writer this semester I also have been exposed to a new approach of reasoning which is inductive reasoning which depends upon premises to be proven true followed by a conclusion which is heavily dependent upon the examples or observations the writer may choose to use. I also was exposed to the format that I have been using within my essays as a student prior to this class which is deductive reasoning. Deductive reasoning is a process that results in a conclusion from a previous rule or thesis stated then followed by an observation or example. While being able to breakdown information I do not rely on other outside information to back up my point to convey the idea. I mostly only trust ethos and logos to get my point across, which means the appeal to ethics as well as to logic respectively. and not so much pathos. Due to my emotions as a minority I try not to present too much emotion within my essays because I try not to be repetitive in that there has been many before me that may share the same emotions I do which I totally accept. Lastly, I believe that all my essays include a solid conclusion to give the most important impression on the reader the last
