Relationship conflict is conflict between two or more people arising out of personality clashes or emotionally-charged interactions
Task conflict is related to conflicts over policies, distribution of resources or the manner of task completion.For example, let's say you and a colleague are both computer programmers, and together you have been assigned to complete an important part of a software program that must go out for beta testing in a week. You each have different programming techniques. Either technique is acceptable and will get the work done in a professional manner. Unfortunately, you both must agree on the same technique because you both are working on the same part of the computer code. You each want to use your own technique.
