Title: Attitudes Towards Older Adults: A Review
Publication: Council On Social Work Education
Peer Reviewed? Yes
What words did you use to find this article? Social Worker
What type of article is this (research, summary, reflection, essay, etc.)? Study
Did this article include an abstract? Yes
Summarize the article (75 to 100 words) This article breaks down about how the elderly are treated and by whom it tells how they are cared for and by whom. By whom, in this meaning, however, is more gender bias. The thesis and research in this article is based more on the relevance of the care and attitude of women verses men giving care to the elderly, but also older women and men verses younger women and men.
Studies in this article show that older men and women have a higher tolerance level for aging and disabled elderly than younger men and women, which I believe we see on the regular in society today anyway. The older men and women tend to have a lot of more patience. Although the older men tend to have less patience than that of the older women. The findings do not seem to be so far or different than that of everyday life really.

Title: Process Predictors of the Outcomes of Group Drug
Publication: Journal of Consulting & Clinical Phsycology
Peer Reviewed? Yes
What words did you use to find this article? Drug Counseling
What type of article is this (research, summary, reflection, essay, etc.)? Research
Did this article include an abstract? Yes
Summarize the article (75 to 100 words) My summary on ”predictors of the Outcome of Group Drug” first let me say that by its title I actually thought that it was going to be a different type of read altogether. It was a study, in fact, about (10) ten Drug counselors with different levels of degrees getting together doing studies of abstinence of drug addicts ranging from different walks of life, as well as different ranges of drugs. There were certain protocols to be followed. In order to be accepted in the program they( the potential clients or patients) had to either be clean for (30) thirty days, and in some cases they actually had to have used in the past (30) thirty days. Then it depended on what drug. If they were a cocaine user they could of used in the past thirty days, but not if they were a meth user. There were several different protocols according to race age and gender. Upon protocol requirement they would complete a series of random test and then be possibly invited to a program. My thoughts, however, on drug rehabilitation is that for every vice you, I, we drop, lose, or get rid of, we pick up another.
