The Guilt That Never Goes Away Guilt is a feeling all humans have felt in their life it is not a good feeling either it feels like something is eating away at you slowly,until you are able to get it of your chest one way or another.Conrad would be a good example of someone that has felt guilty many things happened in his life that lead up to a very bad moment in his life many people were going through rough times like his friend Karen or her parents.Conrad went through a very rough part of life when everything came crashing onto him he felt so guilty because he could not do anything to help his brother or Karen or even himself a lot of the people he cared for died or are having problems and he believed it was because of him. He didn't know how to he didn't know if he could he was having flashbacks of everything that was going on with his life “You don't understand he says it has to be somebody's fault.Or what's the whole goddamn point”(224).Conrad need to blame all the things that were happening to him on someone he when he saw that he couldn't he would put all the blame on himself making everything much harder for him he just could let it out he didn't know how
